  • What is your busiest time of day?
    We get very busy between 11 – 2 mid week 9 – 2 on weekends
  • I need to change my booking who do I contact?
    Please email cafe@tampercoffee.co.uk with your details or call 0114 2757970
  • Can I call in for a coffee without having to book?
    Yes you can we have some seating in our front space if the cafe is full and we do T/A
  • Are you open on Bank Holiday?
    We open all year round apart from Christmas Day, Boxing Day any changes we put on social media
  • Can I bring my dog?
    We only allow dogs in our front take away area or in our outside courtyard.
  • Can I book a table on Facebook?
    No, you will not get a response through Facebook, we only take bookings through this website only.
  • Do you do Gluten free?
    Yes we do, please see our menu tab
  • Do you offer different ‘milk’ variations, for example soya, almond etc?
    We offer oat and soy
  • Do you cater for vegetarians and pescatarians?
    Yes, we do vegetarian and some fish dishes too
  • Do you have wheelchair access?
    Yes we do, please use the large barn doors to the right of the entrance and enter through our courtyard entrance.
  • Do you have any vegan options?
    Yes we do, please see our menu tab
  • What is the French toast for this week?

  • Do you hire out your venue?
    We hire out the space for evening events only, please email events@tampercoffee.co.uk for our events brochure
  • Do you sell gift vouchers?
    Yes please see our gift vouchers tab.
  • Do you have a kids menu?
    Yes we do, please see our menu tab
  • Can I book a table for a large group for lunch?
    We can but you need to email cafe@tampercoffee.co.uk as our booking system only has table options up to six people
  • I’m running late. How long do you hold tables for?
    If you are running late for your table please call us on 0114 2757970.
  • Do you only take bookings?
    No, we also have tables allocated for walk-ins. There may be a wait as we do get very busy, but we will always do our best to get you seated. We do have a seated waiting area.
  • Can I book a baby shower?
    We don’t in our main dining space but you can book out our private dining room, it holds up to 12 people please see our private hire tab
  • Do you have baby change facilities?
    Yes we do
  • Do you have high chairs?
    Yes we do
  • Do you take walk-ins?
    Yes we do.
  • Is there parking nearby?
    There is a limited number of parking spaces on the surrounding streets and a few car parks within a five minute walk.
  • Do you do outside catering?
    No we dont.
  • Do you have any job vacancies?

  • Can I work/study in your cafe?
    We're afraid that we are a busy cafe and our tables are for dining only.
